Employee Timesheets
The employee timesheet module allows employees to record time against projects on a daily or weekly basis. Once complete timesheets are submitted for authorisation and pay data such as overtime can be authorised for transfer to payroll.
A key feature of the module is that project data can be analysed at various levels and as with all ActiveHR solutions workflows can be defined to provide multi-level authorisation, email reminders and alerts.
How it works:
- Employees enter timesheets on a daily or weekly basis
- Time is recorded against project codes
- When complete timesheets are submitted by employees
- Line managers then review and authorise
- Absence transactions are then generated for any sickness and absence details recorded on the timesheets (optional)
- Payroll can then process any variable pay data during Payrun processing such as overtime
Advantages:
- Links to Payroll and HR modules remove the need for re-keying of data
- Data captured provides variable pay data to Payroll
- Project costing data can be analysed and compared to budgets
