Pay Data Capture

The Pay Data capture module allows managers and team leaders in an organisation to record data such as sales commission, bonuses and overtime.

At the heart of the solution is the ability to set up an unlimited set of user defined pay codes and template grids. These are then combined to capture variable pay data at departmental, location or unit level.
Once data is input Pay Batches are submitted for authorisation and once approved data is transferred to Payroll for processing. This avoids the need for re-keying.
The module can also be setup to offer views to managers on any pay element recorded in the payroll system. This allows managers to view pay data over any period and is not limited to gross payment. It can be configured to show both Payments & Deductions such as Tax, National Insurance, and employee cost.

How it works:

  • Managers record employee hours or pay data on a weekly basis
  • When complete Pay batches are submitted for authorisation
  • Senior managers / HR then authorise the Pay batches
  • Payroll then upload the data recorded during Payrun processing

Advantages:

  • Links to Payroll remove the need for re-keying of variable pay data
  • Managers can review historical pay data at any time
  • Payslip details can also be viewed
