In addition to providing a comprehensive Payroll service Action File also offers a fully configurable data interface with its Active.HR application. This can be operated in either hosted or in-house mode and allows secure transfer of data from HR to Payroll and vice-a-versa.

How it works:

• Active.HR is installed on a clients intranet or hosted by Action File
• Employees and/or Managers can take advantage of the Active.HR Self service module to enter data changes, such as change of address and bank details
• Managers and/or HR can make further changes, including adding starters, processing leaver details and recording variable pay data in timesheet or pay batches.
• Changes are then approved using authorisation workflows before being releasing to payroll for processing
   
  
• The bureau team then process the payroll and when complete reports and payslip data is downloaded automatically into the Active.HR document store
   
  

Advantages:

• Remove any need for duplication of data entry
• Self service data entry is devolved down to employee and manager level, cutting down on valuable HR time needed to enter data
• Managers and employees can see payslips in Active.HR (as required)
• Payroll reports are uploaded to HR giving secure access to authorised users
