Action File, based in Oxfordshire, has been in business for over 25 years supplying Payroll, Human Resource and Time & Attendance solutions to a broad range of customers, both large and small, throughout the UK.
The team at Action File has many years of experience in running payroll, in building human resources management systems, working with employee data and is dedicated to finding new and innovative solutions to our customer's needs.

To deliver 'People and Payroll Management Solutions' that Empower our Customers to proactively manage their Employees and Employee Costs.
Our Portfolio
The Action File portfolio provides a comprehensive set of solutions for payroll, time and attendance and human resource management. We offer each client flexibility and choice in the way their solution can be configured and deployed. Options include deployment in-house, outsourced or hosted.
The payroll software is continually updated and is accredited with HMRC. In addition, our bureau service is fully BACS approved.
Recent developments have included web-based Employee Self Service, Absence Management and Timesheet Processing. Action File also offers a HMRC E-Filing Service for companies whose in-house software does not meet that need.
A & C Black have been with Actionfile since 1995 using the Payroll system. Since joining the company in 2004 and having used many payroll systems in the past I have found this one to be by far the best, most user friendly and most helpful of them all.
